Rooibos tea (or Red tea)
According to my searches on Tea manufacturer websites, the correct way to say Rooibos is ROY-boss. It is that simple – Roy-boss.
I love Rooibos – I have been buying organic Rooibos Rocks from Amazon for years. And it is worthy to mention that rooibos is a Sourth African plant, it is not a tea. Rooibos is harvested, dried and then is brewed into a reddish herbal drink known as African red tea or red bush tea. I drink it hot with almond milk and honey and cold with a bit of honey.
The health benefits of rooibos are great. It can help you sleep, because it is caffeine free. If you are trying to cut out coffee, black tea or even green tea from your diet, because they are high in caffeine, give rooibos a try. It is delicious. My favorite way to drink rooibos tea is brewed cold in the afternoon with a tiny bit of honey. It is so refreshing and delicious.
